Vincent Painchaud

Hi!

I'm a postdoctoral researcher in the random matrix and random geometry group at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, working with Gaultier Lambert.

Before coming to KTH, I was a PhD student at the department of mathematics and statistics of McGill University, working with Elliot Paquette. I defended my thesis The canonical system approach to scaling limits of β-ensembles in July 2026.

Before going to McGill, I completed an MSc in mathematics at Université Laval under the supervision of Profs. Nicolas Doyon and Patrick Desrosiers.
