Research
I am mostly interested in probability theory (in particular in random matrix theory) and in mathematical physics. During my PhD, the main focus of my research was the study of certain stochastic differential operators that arise as scaling limits of random matrix ensembles. These differential operators can all be represented using de Branges' theory of canonical systems, and this allows to describe the relations between them. Here's a copy of my PhD thesis: The canonical system approach to scaling limits of β-ensembles.
During my master's, my research was rather grounded in mathematical biology, more specifically in theoretical neuroscience. I worked on mean-field models of large biological neural networks and on extensions of these models.
